Im currently using 3.45 and made some changes. Was wondering if there is a way to export/create my own rom backup?

Its possiable. But its not easy. It take alot of programing to reflect changes you make. I am sure if you find information about it somewhere. I sorta now how to do it. But not enough to actually try it.......yet.

Since it doesn't look like Motorola will ever do it; I wish someone would take the best and most stable of the Asian ROMs with WMP 10 and re-write it so all the required registry edits are built in. Once done and fully tested, I would be willing to buy it at a reasonable price. But Microsoft might object since that would also be selling their OS.

i agree, i did a back up with the spritesoftware, and then loaded a newer rom and restored my sprite back up but still have to change a lot of settings to get it the way i liked it. Would love to make a "image" ie as in symantec ghost image for a pc, and then just blast my phone back 100% the way i had it.
