Help with treo 650 and isync

I have the palm Treo 650 and I wanted to sync it with my addressbook and ical, before this I was using the entourage and syncing with the entourage conduit and it worked fine. Now I want to use isync but I just cant get it to work.
I have tried to reinstall the palm desktop D version. everything syncs except the isync conduit. It gives an error at that point. I also tried missingsync and that also gives me the same thing... syncs everything except the isync conduit.
I have the latest isync and latest missing sync.
When I try to use isync's panel and search for device it finds my treo but states that I cannot connect to it and the icon does not pop up in the isync panel. I have the latest firmware and software for my treo I think its treo650-1.13-ROW. Its from a unlocked cingular treo.
Any help would be appreciated... I tried all the stuff I could find by searching but maybe I'm missing something.

Sounds frustrating...
I am not sure exactly what might be causing the behavior you're seeing. It's alot of reading, but it might be worth checking out Apple's iSync support page.

I finally got it to work... I deleted all of the palm files on mac under application support and uninstalled everything and restarted and then reinstalled and then restarted and it worked! Hopefully it doesnt get messed up with the next update or anything.
