Dear all,

Recently purchased motorola's new bluetooth headset-H700. I had issues with it transferring to headset mid call as well as lost connections. I have not issues with my HS810. I love the folding boom design in that I can easily go to headset and shut off when done (this way I do not have to walk around all day with a headset off). I also have a HBH-608 which works well but I prefer the boom for shutting off.

My HS810 is about a year old and is starting to age a bit hence the reason I tried the H700. My question is-has anyone else used this headset with their beloved 910? I wonder if I got a bad unit and should try again. If not-does anyone us the HS850? I guess this my next option if the H700 does not work (except buying another 810 but I would like a newer toy and will not be buying a new phone soon since I think the P910 is about perfect.

Also-I find the Motorola headsets more comfortable than SEs

Thanks in advance for everyone's input.

i just got my h700 for 67 bucks its great it matches the P910a and everything i like how its so small but i have the problem such as if its folded (in off mode) and i get a call and i unfold it it wont sync for me to grab the call and if it i leave it off for a while i have to restart my phone in order for it to sync right. or else ill get this loud beep soundon my phone. and lost connection. this is a great unit but i hope they fix this problem some how.

I have successfully used a Moto HS850 ... works quite well with my P910a. I also recently received a new SE HBH-610 that has the cleanest sound yet for a BT headset, but I do miss the ease of opening/closing the boom to turn on or turn off the headset.

Both BT headsets are great and work beautifully with the P910a.

Thanks-for confirming my issues with the H700. I really like my HBH608 but miss the folding boom as well. If it were just easier to turn of HBH608. You have to hold button down for awhile. May try out the HS850.

let me know if you figure out anything with the h700 to make it work better. i was just in class and i had it closed and i opened it. let it stay open for maybe a few mintues and then i tried to make a call and it seemed to work fine. maybe just needs more time to acually connect. oh and by the way. is there an option to be able to hear system noise through the headset. say mp3s being played and what not. or is that just a moto bluetooth headset to moto phone thing only?
