Verichat problem 7230 please help!

Just got a 7230 off ebay, loaded verichat, but when tryint to connect to msn I get a message saying "could not find service book entry". I have tmobile service..and I'm not sure if I use my msn account info to log in or something else. Please help thanks!

Do you have the device activated on a Blackberry data plan?

NO I do not..how do I do that? I don't intend to keep this device more then a month or so so I do not want to pay extra for more services. Is this free? Thanks

It's not free, sorry.
All Blackberry devices require a Blackberry data plan for email, internet, etc.

If you decide to do it, contact your carrier to add the plan and activate the device.

Grrr I probably just will not do it untill I get my treo. But then I will need to do anything I have to to get MSN messenger on it, that is not charged per text. This is possible on the treo correct? Thanks for your help so much!

No worries...
Unfortunately I don't know what's available for treo and MSN. Likely you'll require a data plan of some sort for that as well...
