V3 From 8.26 to 07.E0 Bootloader Screen???

Can anyone help?? I've read a lot and have not found the answer to this.
I have a Black V3 with Cingular.(Locked) It had Bootloader 8.26.

Last week I had it unlocked by GSM Liberty. It did unlock because I,ve tested a sim card from another provider and it works. The phone seems to work fine. The thing is that now when I use the combination of keys to see software and bootloader screen( * # + POWER) the phone just shuts off. I've tried a re-flash and it seems to flash fine because u can see the SW UPDATE IN PROGRESS message.
IS THIS NORMAL WITH BOOTLOADER 07.E0???
HOW CAN I SEE MY BOOTLOADER?????

I've also noticed that if I set the phonebook to a certain category view, say PERSONAL for example, the next time I turn it on it's back to the "ALL" category view., not the previeusly selected category.

IS THIS ALSO NORMAL??????

The phonebook thing is normal ....thats just the way it is.....

To see your bootloader....do the key combination you mentioned when the phone is off....
hold the * and # then press power......

hmmm...I think I've seen this before.....I think you'd have to use certain software to see it but i'm not sure.....Sorry....

You have to press all three at the sam time and hold for 4 sec then let go and with this bootloader it's display very dim

yea sometimes you dont see the bootloader screen but the phone is in bootloader mode i had this problem with couple of my v500 and i flash them with this file 01.BR.R374_Bootloader_08_26_replacer.shx and then i was able to see the screen you can try that and see if it works.

I flashed bootloader 8.23 and i still can't see the bootloader when pressing the key combination *#+power.
I think i messed this one up

Someone had this same problem and got it resolved by flashing 8.26 BL from www.MotoX.us

because apparently 8.23 is not a full BL, it is just updater

the thing with 8.26 is that once you upgrade, you can't backup FW anymore, i got if off back to 07.E0 with smartclip, don't know any other way.
