EDIT: I have a treo 650
so i had that "ALWAYS ON" and it would just switch to 30 seconds probably about every hour. so id have to swtich to to like 3 minutes everytime i turned on my phone basically. sooo.. i looked n realised the normal one u use
PREFERENCES-->AUTO-OFF AFTER:

Can accually go up to 3 minutes. well it stays set for 3 minutes when i go back to it. But it never accually stays on for 3 minutes. after the device goes off once, the next time it automatically goes back to 30 sec. BUT it doesnt show it. it just does it. it shows its still at 3 minutes.

Anyone else have this problem...its starting to piss me off..having to unlock my phone everytime i take a breath when using it.

any help is appreciated.

get a program called reconfig you can change the value to anything you want

On my Tungsten I use DioPlayer - which is set to turn the screen off after 30 seconds when listening to music...

I have my auto-off set to 2 minutes. But yeah, 30 seconds would be too quick for me as well...
