X800 Computer Connection Help

Im trying to connect my phone to my computer using PC SUITE that came with the phone. I installed the software and the drivers (saying not compatiable to XP but click yes anyways). After restarting the computer, I change the Mrouter to COM1 for the USB cable and hooked it up to the phone. I go to the phone menu and activated the USB, and it says that its recieving signal, however, its not connecting. I keep on hearing sounds which are when you connect a new device to the computer. Basically i get no connection whatsoever, so please help me out.

Can you connect via IR, blue tooth, or internet? or are these methods disabled as well.

I figured it out, it was a bad usb connection up front on the computer. Used the ones on the back and it works.
