Have you guys just been keeping it in your pockets? Thats where mine is most of the time and I've been ok, no dust, phone still looks mint. Hope it doesn't happen to mine. My brother's S200 gets dust under the screen too. He opened it up and sealed it with some electrical tape then put the cover back on. But I guess the T809 won't be so easy to open up haha

No modifications or tape.
.
if you can get ALL of the air bubbles out it'd be a pretty perfect fix

but any phone that nice a big screen .. go to your local office max and get LCD screen covers .. you can size them to any size you want and they work really well .. they protect the screen from scratches dust and other crap you dont want to get in there .. they cost about $5 to 10 its really worth it |

I mean...W.T.F? I know this is a sandy kingdom, but COME ON! And yes, my pants were CLEAN. |

If you look at them both at a side angle,(like your looking at the charging port), the one that has no dust, the screen is flush or below the casing. The one that has dust, the screen is slightly protruding. When i say protruding i mean like a fraction of a milimeter. And this seems to be the case for everyone that has dust under the screen. Everyone that I have seen that doesn't have dust the screen is nicely embedded in the casing. If you look down the left corner of your T809 and can see the corner of the screen at all then chances are your T809 will have dust underneath eventually.

One thing I'm not sure if it's just me unable to find it, but the shortcut keys cannot be reassigned. I can't switch menu/phonebook on the main screen. The keypad is kind of hard to press sometimes. Especially when I'm typing a txt msg. A person with bigger fingers may find the keypad to be very uncomfortable to press. It's recessed into the phone. Overall, I think the menu could be organized a whole lot better.
I hope that helps, I"m not very good at explaining, but feel free to contribute |

Open the phone and slowly and gently pulled up that whole silvery square, marked with the word Motorola. It comes up and off with no problem, clean it and place it back on. There's adhesive holding it and it will reattach flawlessly! Trust us, it's simple and I guaratee you'll be emailing us to thank us and ask why it took you so long to do it!!! IT'S SIMPLE and WORK PERFECT!!!
