downgrading bootloader on v635

found this bootloader: Boot_Loader_07D0_for_ramldr_by_Arkasha18_and_InDes ign.shx
to downgrade to 07d0... it was in a v551 thread..
my question is, can i use this file to downgrade the bootloader of a v635, and not end up with a dead phone..?? (i.e. the thread stated it was for a v551, but is it compatible with the v635)

would someone please give me some input so i don't brick my phone.. i've searched, and yes, the word "bootloader" comes up, but nothing pertaining to my question.
