Hey everybody,

I'm about to get a t637 from a friend of a friends but there seems to be so many ppl out there that do the conversion of a T616>T637 or T610>T630. how do i tell if its a REAL T637??? My major concern is the 850 band.

Any tips??????

don't think there's a way to tell. look for signs if it was opened, i guess?

the t637 and t630 has a better quality colour screen as opposed to the t616 or t610. You will notice that it has more rich colours.

if you convert your phone, you have to convert the screen also.

does the 850 band work when converted?

the firmware method as mentioned
and check the label under the battery, it will say the phone model
you could also then match the imei to the firmware version to see if anything was changed
if that isn't pretty sure fire, then i don't know what is
