V551 very low volume in earpiece

When I get a call or place a call you cannot hear anything. I have to bang the phone on my leg a couple of times to get the volume to come back up. Has anyone else had this problem with this phone? If so what did you do to fix it?

I am getting Cingular to replace it. What are the chances I get this problem again in a couple of months? I believe that they are pretty good.

My volume has dropped over the last month or so. It's much harder to hear unless the room is very quiet. In the car or a store it's very difficult now. (whats the point of a "mobile" phone if ya can't hear it?) Still searching to see if anyone knows whats up or a fix....
