hey My sk2 keypad ripped now im missing my letter 's'
VERYYY annoying, i guess i could go thru insurance and claim damage $50.
but i dont want to spend money for 1 friggin letter, heh.

you think i could rip the keypad off a dummy model?
do they use the same sticky substance?
can anyone sell me their keypad if they have a broken sidekick 2?

keypad is going for $25 in Canada, not sure of the price in the US but at the current dollar exchange rate, it should be about the same. check the local Sharp/Audiovox/UTS Starcomm dealer and see if they carry it, the one here in Canada does..

The keypad skins on dummy devices are the same design, however they're not the same manufacture - the dummy device keyboards are far more opaque and the keys will not light up properly.

my letter 's' tore off, and my 'e' is almost off as well

o man my keyboard split from like after the E...to between s/d...all the way to v...and almost completely off

i went to a t-mo store and he said that i'd have to call customer service and have to pay 110$. wtf?! this **** ripped on its own because when i slide it open it pulls on the Q and pushes down on the P...

last i heard insurance replacements are 80$...but you say i can get it for 50$? whats the cheapest i can replace this? i am now actually considering getting a new fone...
