PPC-6700 POP Problems

I am having a pop e-mail problem with my phone and am looking for a fix.
The POP Account is set to send and recieve every 15 minutes... It downloads messages.. then 15 minutes later it downloads again, and erases everything in the inbox!
is there a fix for this that I am overlooking?

go to the options and there is a box for automatically checking your emails every 15 minutes...
you can get to the options by either creating the account over or by editing the account..

You probably have your server account set to remove messages when accessed via POP. This was a problem with my Gmail pop account...
