HELP: Recovering custom start/goodbye animations (Razr V3)

Ok, so ive tried modding the custom startup and goodbye animations but got lost along the way...

I edited all the seems as described in www.motox.us (under the unbranding faq), but once i tried transferring the gifs (those included in the unbranding pack) it says "Fail: cannot write"... so the newb as i am, i deleted custgoodbye.gif, assuming that i had to delete it before changing. now i dont have a shutdown animation at all.

can anyone tell me how to recover the shutdown animation and how i can resolve the "fail: cannot write" error in p2k?

Razr V3... but first i have to recover the custom shutdown animation that i accidentally deleted

get this program called p2ktools and look in the /a/mobile parition, i dont have a razr anymore so I dont really remember its exact location

I am using P2K... ive managed to restore the custgoodbye.gif in the /a folder, but the phone still doesn't show any animation during shutdown...

fixed it... after going here http://xlr8.us/hofo/ i found that my 0207_0001.seem file was changed to all zeroes which prevented the phone from finding the file... so i had to download 0209_0001.seem and upload it to the phone as 0207.0001.seem to tell it what the file is.

well i uploaded mypics to a then for the ringtone i had to upload it to a mobile audio and c mobile audio.. and i get cust animation startup with mp2 and cust shutdown with mp3 hope this helps...
