Unreal... tru2life you could have at least quoted the source you ripped this off from? Seeing it's my (finch from BlackBerry Forums) hard work that went into creating the Macintosh-BlackBerry Sync Requirements for BlackBerry Forums Mac users. FWIW you can petition all you want but until company's such as Apple have a larger user base your talking to a brick wall. Consider petitioning Pumatech who develop the software apps for RIM.

I know that 3rd party solutions exist. Why should I have to pay $140 for what Windows users get for free?

Because a BlackBerry is still primarily a business device and there are so few business users on Mac that it doesn't make them any more money to support the feature. It is not about being fair, it is about generating revenue.

Looks like RIM disagrees:

I think with the new Intel Macs coming along that RIM see's an opportunity to meet this market. As a long time Mac (home) user and Windows (work) user i'm looking forward to owning one machine. With Vista Running or VIrtual PC available for my Windows applications The only missing element in my world is a proper Exchange client (Entourage sucks) and BB access.

cheers
