hey i just bought the i870, it came with a usb cable that is used for a motorola "secure digital" card reader. NOW...what i want to know is is how could i access my card... i had (and still do have...) webjal (which worked for my i730 just fine), and Cool Edit Pro software. I want to load mp3's into my phone to play mp3s(not ringtones) and videos. i already know how to convert videos and ringtones... but not mp3's for music playback. I'm having trouble getting into my memory of my phone....the motorola secure digital card reader only works for SanDisk memory cards...i tried to install the TF card into it but it just falls right in their. i tried looking for a port on the my i870 to see if it had a place where i could place the SD memory card but there is none (or i just cant see it) can anyone tell me how to access my phone...what programs do i need? do i need a new version of webjal or should the software that came with it (ROXIO creater 7) work just fine. please help me im confused on how to access my card. so i could my mp3's and Video into my phone

i used the same basic stuff... webjal and cool edit pro to change the audio

for mp3 song playbacks i converted my songs to 128/64kbps, 44100khz 16 bit stereo..it sounds great, for the ringtones i could only use 8000khz 8bit mono and save it as an mp3 with 48kbps or less.

wallpaper is just like the i730.. except for different resolutions

and i downloaded pv author to convert videos for the i870

you can use 64kbps for ringtons. I use dvpoweramp though. what size does your full mp3 songs come to be after converting? most songs are about 3.5-5 mb, but i downloaded a song off a site that was like right under 2 bc he compressed it a lot. it still sounded decent, but at least with dbpoweramp i cant get my songs that small. It sounded good, and would save space on my card.

my mp3 songs take up no more then 3 mbs after i convert them...i love it... the sound! it's perfect and some of the songs only take up 1.7mb!!!!! after discovering that u could compress the audio into this formatandstill have a good sound i started making all my songs 44100 16/8 bit stereo/mono with 64kbps for gadgets such as my PSP and all other mp3 players...the sound is great...and takes up very little space...
