Hi guys
Another thing I noticed is that something "strange" is happenning with contact's numbers, etc.
I inserted my sim card in the phone. When I receive SMSs or Calls, I can see only the number, not the name... for example:

For Walter, I get 549112644030578
but the Phone number stored in sim is 154030578
(both aren't real numbers)

So, I have to edit each contact's and put the number my phone shows, so next time it displays its name.

Any workaround for this ? Thanks

You sure he's SMS'ing from his phone? Maybe Walter is sending an SMS via his computer and using an email server. Does "Walter" show up too, or just the number?

FWIW, I email text messages to myself all the time (via Outlook and work server to my 5600) to (mytel#)@mmode.com. And if you look on carriers' web sites, they have forms so you can send a SMS online.

I tested this while Walter was here with me...
He sent a sms from his phone, and I saw his number only ( 549112644030578 ) and well, I've him in my contacts stored as 154030578

Note: While testing, this only happenned when receiving SMSs, with ALL my contact ( I tested with 4 or 5 friends from my contact list -asked them to send me a test msg-)
But: Name is shown when receiving calls, so my problem is with sms receiving
