Do I lose the 850 band if i do that? If so, how do i get it back? Which rom should I use?

Did you put WM5 on your 5600 ?

Use an Audiovox SMT5600 ROM on your phone. Other ROMs will cause you to lose your 850MHz band since that band is at least partly software controlled. And why did you flash to the Orange ROM, which is application locked? If you were going to use another ROM, an i-Mate or Qtek ROM would be a better choice, but again, you'd lose the 850 band.

So, I suppose we won't find WM5 Roms for AudioVox, am I right ?

They're floating all over the net, and at least 2 threads in this group are dedicated to flashing the 5600 with WM5.

The SMT5600 was one of the development platforms for WM5 at Microsoft. Wish one of the vendors would make an "official" WM5 release available for it.
