Hello All,

I've got a few questions about XTNDConnect because I can't get it to work. Does it work w/ WinXP and through infrared? Because that's what I'm trying to do and it doesn't seem to find the phone. I tried COM1 and COM2. I set COM 2 to be the IR in the bios. Windows recognizes that the phone is near the IR though, so I'm just trying to figure out how I can beam logos, ringtones, etc to my phone. I don't really care about the Outlook stuff, since it's probably a pain to use the phone as a calendar and all. I'll just stick w/ my Palm for that.

You're probably talking of XTND Connect Viewer. I got reports that it does work with XP through IR. Your problems seem to be caused by th IR stuff, not the XTND software, so I can't help you there. However, you need to install a virtual COM port for IR. You should search the internet for help on this topic. Don't forget to download the latest version 1.13.39 of th Viewer.
