Using MPx220 & Razr

I posted this yesterday in the Smartphone forum, but figured this forum could be more helpful.
I just got a Razr for Xmas and planned on using it along with the MPx220 that I've had for a little longer than a year now. I was under the impression that I could just switch my Cingular sim card between the 2 and it would work in either one. When I opened my Razr I immediately put my sim card in it not thinking about my contacts/files/etc...
The sim card worked fine in the Razr (and now only wants to work in the Razr), but when I went to put it back into the MPx220 it gave me a "invalid or missing sim card" error. Is there a certain password I need for the MPx220 to have the sim card work? I will probably only use the MPx220 to transfer files over bluetooth and I thought I would ask here before heading to a Cingular store.

Is the RAZR unlocked? If not, is it loocked to Cingular? If not, you need to get it unlocked!

Make sure the SIM card is snug inside the MPx 220.
I have the same problems with this phone.

The older MPx 220's (before the giant recall) had problems with this. People would take small pieces of paper and wedge in between the back of the card and the holder to force the connectors to come in contact.
The other problem was the MPx 220 was notoriously picky about SIM cards. Many people went through a handfull of SIM cards before they found one that would work in that phone.
There was actually a particular time period Cingular would give you a free SIM card if you had that problem.
