Blackberry 7130e on verizon network

This is by design. The only way to put MP3s on the BB is to download from a website. I have heard of people using Gmail having success by accesing their email with the browser and opening the attachment there, then downloading.

Hope this helps.

If you're asking me, I haven't tried Gmail and No I don't get that error when downloading the ones I have made and put on my own site.

i was going to walmart.com and looking up a song and then clicking a sound clip. It worked before and I saved it into the tunes manager and i could use it as a ring tone.
Ill try my gmail and see if that helps...
Any other thoughts or websites where I can access mp3 clips and use them as ring tones?

I have the same problem, but I DO get the 406 error message.

I have the Verizon 7130e.

I have tried downloading from a site I uploaded to, Walmart.com, Allofmp3.com, and many others. Only the rare file is able to be downloaded. I will try Gmail next.

Is this phone crippled by VZ or Blackberry? Many have posted success with downloading MP3s.

I cannot downlaod adp files either. Some MIDI work, however.

Have you tried making sure they're in the correct format? As with any phone, the file has to be in a recognizable format--see this thread and Lgreenberg's response on formating at the bottom of the thread. Although that post is for the 8700 series, the same most likely holds true for the 7130's. There are also numerous threads on ringtones and such on other forums that you may find helpful--there may be more info about proper formating there.
