What do you think, is this a good starter phone? I'm looking for a pre paid phone as gifts for my nieces.
This seems like a great idea, they can have a cell phone, & they can buy their own minutes.
How is this phone, it seems pretty basic. Anybody own this phone or can give me any feedback, please?

I've got the 2135 which is a bit of a step up (tri-mode, etc) but basically the same phone. Of course, I'm on a monthly plan, not minutes. I think the 2119s will be a perfect prepaid phone.

You should get the 2255 for them... A friend of mine had the 2119 and it felt cheap. And what a nice uncle you are -- I need to get an uncle like you
