I just had this same issue with the v360. After about 2 hours of web surfing and frustration, I got some answers and it eventually worked. Heres what you'll need.
-Version 3.28 or better MPT (Live update from the MPT 3.11 application to version 3.24, then after restarting the app, liveupdate to ver 3.28). V360 support started in MPT version 3.28. -USB data cable. The one that comes with the phone will work fine, although you need to set the phone's connection setting to "Data Connection" instead of the default "Memory Card" On the phone menu/settings/connection/USB settings).
