Those of you with a 2125 please help. Anybody have trouble setting up a partnership between Windows Media Player 10 and the 2125 miniSD card?

WMP10 keeps telling me that "No device has been detected." I can manually transfer files by copying them into the miniSD card with the file explorer, but I cannot just sync thru WMP10.

Since I am a newbie to smartphones and windows mobile, is there a better alternative to sync media than thru WMP10?

Any ideas?

Thanks a lot.

I am having the same problem; I can sync everything but Windows Media Player. It says that no device is detected. Has anybody been able to sync a 2125 with WMP?

I had the same problem, somewhere out there on the Microsoft site I found that you needed to have Windows Media Player 10 installed prior to installing ActiveSync 4.1. Solution is to install MediaPlayer 10 and then uninstall and re-install ActiveSync 4.1. That worked for me. File transfer still took forever. I ended transferring directly to miniSD instead of using ActiveSync.

I discovered the same solution. I uniinstalled a VPN client that I thought may have been the culprit, then uninstalled and reinstalled WMP10 and then the Activesync. Since then I can sync. I tend to think it was the VPN, though.
