No its not possiable and never will be. You need a WM5 device, an upgrade with A2DP will be provided shortly.

I'm almost certain i read somewhere that WM2003 devices can ADD a2dp support. If not....WHY CAN'T THE MPx220 support WM2005????

The MPx220 uses the standard Microsoft Bluetooth stack, which doesn't support the A2DP profile. The new update scheduled in February for WM5.0 devices will contain this profile.
There is no WM5.0 released for the MPx220.
The only WM2003SE device that supports A2DP is the Samsung i300 (the 3GB hdd phone) and that's because Samsung uses it's own stack I believe.

Chris is correct, Samsung uses its own BT stack.

considering the samsung I300 has Wm2003SE and has A2dp profile, it is possible for a 2003SE phone to ahve it. but how to get it on, im not sure.

You can't, its that simple. Unless you can make your own ROM with samsungs BT stack, but I doubt that would even work because the stack was made for the hardware in the samsung phone. So yes its possiable, anything is possiable, but will it happen? No, especially not on an outdated OS.

Well, not to voice the unpopular idea, but if you're desperate to use bluetooth stereo headphones with your MPx220, you might want to try getting a pair of bluetooth headphones that include an adaptor that converts output from a 3.5mm audio jack to AD2P.

That, coupled with a jack adaptor from PPC Techs (for example) would let you listen to your music from the phoen wirelessly.

The Microsoft stack for 1.1 bluetooth transceivers has NEVER had (and presumably never will) an option for AD2P. My hw6515 does, but only because it uses the Widcomm stack for 1.2 transceivers.

Despite that and the fact that I have the Moto bluetooth headphones, I still prefer to use a good pair of Sony Fontopias with my handheld instead of the bluetooth headphones. The bluetooth set is just so big and clunky...and doesn't always work perfectly at that.

The i300 uses a completely different transceiver, so using the drivers for that device wouldn't work (and at worst could brick your phone for the attempt).

i agree it wont work with the mpx220. but i was just stating there are 2003SE phones that have a2dp cause you mentioned earlier its not possible
