I've bought a Bluetooth handsfree and now Im unable to listen to my mp3 through my bluetooth handsfree. Any idea how to do this?

Can't be done. Bluetooth headsets are for phone calls only with the 703.

cant u get bluetooth headphones that will work with 703/903 as they have BT 1.2? or am i horribly mistaken?

Yeah they'll work with the 703/903, but still only for voice calls (and in 1.1 compatibility mode). To listen to music through Bluetooth headphones the phone needs to support the A2DP stereo music profile, which the 703 and 903 don't. Bluetooth version makes no difference here.

yeah so basically it doesn't matter if your bluetooth headset is $3000 dollar dolby digital super surround stereo sound ... it won't work cuz it's phone dependant ... i think the sony ericsson w900 is a2dp right ?!?!?

Apparently it isn't - the Bluetooth SIG website doesn't mention the A2DP profile for the W900. Not many phones have that profile actually...

i found that the 8801 and the 6230 when recieving a call u can hear the set mp3 ring tone other phones i dont think it is possible to do it yet. unless i am mistaken. at this moment i am assuming only nokia's can do it.

Yeah it depends on the phone. If the phone decides to transmit the ringtone through the standard headset or handsfree profile, then consider it a bonus

There is one solution to bluetooth headset. Logitech has a headset with an adaptor which is design for ipod.

I like the idea, but the adaptor is too big.

i have that.. used it.. not good for the phone. its too clunky.
