I have the original SK2 right now. If I were to buy the MISTER CARTOON SK2, would I be able to switch my already purchased games & apps over if I call T-mobile. I know that if you do a hard reset, you lose all your downloads.
Any input appreciated.

My friend's SKII broke and he had to get a new one from T-Mobile, and as soon as he put his sim card in, all his games and apps loaded onto the new SKII. So I would say "yes" to your question. However, it took a while for everything to download. It wasn't all done in 5 minutes. He kept getting updates over the next few hours.

The only difference between the LE sidekicks and the standard ones are the case plastics. You can switch your SIM between sidekick devices and all your data and downloaded applications will transfer between devices automatically.
A hard reset won't "lose all your downloads" - a hard reset should affect your applications in any way, just your data will get cleared and resynced from the network.
