Trying to fix a friend's brick v3

A friend had one of his friend try to unlock his v3, which was already unlocked, and something ended up going wrong. Geez I wish people wouldn't try this crap if they don't know what they are doing.
Anyway, When you put the battery in the keypad lights come on, but the phone doesn't, and you can't start it up. I can't get into bootloader mode either.
I tried to reflash it, and noticed I think it is stuck in test mode. That is what I figured out so far. But I can't seem to get it out of that mode to reflash it. When I try to reflash it, it actually says the memory is empty.
Anyone have any suggestions that I might be overlooking to get this thing to reflash so I can get it back up and running?

i have same problem too.did you solc-ve the problem? how? what should i do too?
