V710 disassembly

Greetings. Has anyone completely separated the two halves of a V710 before (on purpose and non-destructively)? Is it a difficult endeavor? I've done it with my old LG TM-510 before, just wondering if I'd be able to pull it off with a V710. I've found a nice page illustrating some disassembly to change the housing, but I don't believe they actually completely separate the halves.
