ringtone probs (im a noob) plz help!!

hey well i have a motorola razr v3. I downloaded some ringtones and transfered them onto my razr (with bluetooth) but my razr wont give me the option to set as ringtone. Can anyone tell me if i have to do somthing in my phone or do i have to convert the wav files into somthing else ? if so what program can do that for me? if it helps my phone provider is rogers wireless.

yea, you have to convert wav files to mp3, becasue thats what the phone supports..

well i've done that and after the xfer it says that it does not recognize the file...and i know the ringtone files were mp3 what's going on?

maybe the bitrate is too high. If you transfer using MPT the program will set an adecuate bitrate.

hmm i'll try to adjust the bitrate down
