6102 Conflicting Pricing

I went to my local Cingular corporate store Thursday to check on the Nokia 6102 deal (79.99 - $50 rebate = $29.99). They were out of stock but confirmed the 29 price after rebate. So on Friday I went to another corporate store but their price was 99.99 - $50 rebate. The rep said that you get and extra $20 if you sign up for a 9.99 media plan. I thought I must have read things wrong. But I got home and noticed online that it was 29 after rebates. I called the store I first went to and they again confirmed the $29. I went back to the store I purchaed the phone from and the same rep insisted on the price he charged us. So, I requested a refund. He said "Which store was it so I can let there manager know they are charging the wrong price." I said "I will let him know after I get the better price." He gave the refund and I went to the other store and got the cheaper price.

So, which store charged me the correct price? The second one in my mind because it was cheaper. A side note, the rep at the store I initially purchsed the phone from was quite unfriendly but the rep at the store I ended up buying the phone from was very friendly and helpful. He even filled out part of the rebate form for us.

Just thought I'd share.
