Using Uploaded Pix for Wallpaper

Is there a reason you couldnt just upload a picture to vzwpix or someplace and send it to your phone? I just got the 6100 and dont have the cables or software yet to hook up to my computer. ( and after reading about all the trouble people have using it, I am not sure I even want to bother. ) Thanks.

Using cable/bluetooth/software doesn't cost airtime/pix-msging-charge. Last time I player with vzwpix, I find it "fiddles" with what I uploaded, so I wasn't very happy with it. Alot of people just like to tinker around on their phone and work around Verizon's restrictions. With BitPim, people can also make backups of their phonebook on supported phone. If you are happy with pix msging, there is no need to change.
