V330 Battery problem

I bought a V330 through Walmart a couple weeks ago and I'm pretty happy with the phone. Except the battery. After it's charged it stays charged for only like 3-hours then it's dead and needs to be charged for like 12 hours. Should I just get a new battery or is the phone itself the problem and should I send it back. Also I looked/searched around for an answer to this and I couldn't find one. Forgive me if it's been answered and I somehow missed it. Thx in advance.
