Help! RSS problem with my i830.

I have tried both R01.16.16 and R01.16.15 and when I select the "Read Phone" option from the drop down "File" the phone is detected and in Device Manager it goes from "Motorola iDEN USB Modem" to "Motorola iDEN P2k1 Device". Then I get the error message "Can not communicate with the phone. Check the connections and make sure the phone is powered on and has a fully charged battery. If your phone is data capable then try setting baudrate to 19200 or AUTO in the Programming Menu on the phone." I have tried changing the baudrate to 19200 and I get the same thing. I am kinda new to RSS and need some help from the pros out there!

I also tried my i730 and got the same exact thing.
