Hello i am in the market for a sharp 903

I have found several names for this phone and im confused....

It is sometimes called sharp 903, 903sh, v903, v903sh and sx833.

I also checked out the sx833 price and it was liek $1100 CAD and the 903sh was 680... WTF?!

Please help me out and thanks!

all are pretty much the same phone, just depends on where its sold. firmware is the thing to look out for

i think the sx833 is directly from sharp, while the 903sh is distributed through vodafone...correct me if i'm wrong...

anyways, like juniinuj said, it's firmware that's different

SX833 is the model number that Smartone uses in Hong Kong. They also called the 902 the SX813.

uhhh isn't 902 and 903 two different phones? The 903 a step up from 902?

Btw, should i invest on a sx833 that is directly from sharp or just a 903 with a vodaphone print on it? thanks.

It really doesn't matter if it comes from Sharp or Vodafone in my opinion because it is the same phone. Just search back to earlier posts to see the differences in firmware and see which one you like.

Yes, they're two different phones, and yes, the 903/SX833 is a step up from the 902/SX813, hence the higher model numbers.

The SX833 isn't directly from Sharp, it's from Smartone. It sells for so much more than a 903 that you'd be better off getting a 903, unless you really have to have one of Smartone's custom colors. I bet you can have a 903 flashed to the SX833 firmware if you want.

well. smartone is a subsidiary of vodafone in HK. and it is a SHarp phone.. what else would it be.. and yes.. you can flash to sx833 firmware if you want it. but there really isn't much point unless u read chinese or write chinese
