Hello,

I'm new, I own a motorola v3 (orange uk) bought back in february 05.
I would like to upgrade to the latest firware and I was wondering if you could link me to the latest firmware for my mobile.

the current fw is R374_G_0E.40.3CR.

p.s.
is it possible to use a different network's firmware if the orange one is unavailable?

You need to read more before asking questions.

The firmware doesn't matter, care, or even have anything to do with what provider you're using. That's the FLEX.

So put the latest firmware on the phone, and leave the flex alone. The links to the latest firmware is in the Wikki.

Try searching first, next time.

However I still can't find the link to the wikki (wiki), or where I'm supposed to find the firmware links.

It is possible to find all the info you want here using the search page.

But, as i have a orange v3, unlocked and on vodafone, well, its perfectly possible to flash it with any version of firmware and flex.

I am using R374_G_0E_42.0ER
Flex GTMV3xx000AALV0C3

I have lost count of how many versions of flash and flex i have tried
