Razr won't turn on

I've been reading the forums this morning and have noticed that most issues with the RAZR phone not turning on have been flash issues. I've read motox.com on how to flash a phone and other threads here. My question is, am I better off going to Cingular (here in atlanta) and letting them reflash the phone to get it working again?
