I'm a Motorala seem editing noob that needs some help. I consider myself fairly technically capable, but have run into some roadblocks. I've already tried searching but can't find what I need. Here's what I'd like to do: apply some simple seem edits to my T-Mobile v360 phone.

What I've done:
1. Installed MPT 4.0.4b -- with the v360 when it starts up is gives the following message: "...switching the phone to modem mode." When I exit MPT I get "...restoring the phone to mass storage mode." MPT works just fine, but I think that this behavior is the source of my problems.
2. I've tried to install P2KMan, but trying all combinations to install the P2KMan driver I keep getting a variety of errors that the driver can't be installed.

Again, I think that the problem exists because the v360 has two USB modes: mass storage & mode. Am I right? What have others of you done to sucessfully seem edit the v360?

Have you tryed going (in phone) to: settings > connection> usb settings and setting it to data/Fax connection. Thats what it needs to be set on for seem editing. I had issues with p2kman uploading the seem back into the phone so i use Motokit, and p2k seem the most. They work good. I havent had any problems seem editing.

awesome. glad i could help. Look for some of my other posts on seems you can edit to enable cool stuff like almost unlimited video capture, email, video themes and other stuff.
