Just a quick question for the vets on this board regarding Nokia. Seems like everyone is raving over the RF quality on Nokia phones. And after lookin at www.nokia.ca or more specifically this link http://www.nokia.ca/admin/mynewphone.html

It shows under Bell Mobility that they carry a wide variety of Nokia Phones. Anyone know if A. Any of those phones are still available or discontinued? and B. If Nokia is king of RF and Text messaging etc blah blah blah

Except for the 2125 they are all discontinued.

Nokia is certainly the king of RF based on the fact that no matter what model you get they have consistantly great RF. Where as other manufacturers some models are good and some are bad.. although mostly all are good now. Bell is getting a little better with their testing before releasing phones.

As for text messaging.. all phones are the same they all have t9 or simple abc typing modes however Nokia does have great user interface, anyone can get through their menus...unlike other manufacturers.

I just picked up a Nokia 6585 on prepaid, and gonna activate it on dads plan. He hates his Audiovox 8910 and I hate it aswell lol. I cant believe I used that phone for a year and half. RF is utter garbage.

Oh and I picked the phone up for 90 bucks after tax

and comes with 30 bucks prepaid and speaker stand.
