Does anybody have a detailed explanation on how to set an MP3 as a ringtone on the SMT5600?

Use active sync to drag the mp3 files to \Storage\Application Data\Sounds Folder on the phone.

Then, when you go to the settings->sounds menu, they will show up in the sounds list.
