Hiptop (classic) username

I bought a classic hiptop (used) and need to know how to change the username? I tried putting a new SIM in it thinking it would ask me for a username but it didn't. How do i do this?

If your device is still tied to a prior username, you'll need to call your carrier and have them disconnect the old username from the IMEI - it's not something you can do it has to be done on their end, only takes a couple of minutes.
