Got my S710 back out and have started using it again. My question is how do I know when the phone is pulling edge. The W600 I've used here pulls edge, the BlackBerry 8700 pulls edge, but my Rokr or V557 never displayed the edge indicator. Anyone have a thought?

there is no special icon. If you're in an EDGE capable area the network will automatically assign you the timeslots

I was wondering cause on the w600i it will display a E above your signal if you have edge but if your on GPRS then it displays a G, just like on the z520a. So I know the area I'm in is EDGE capable, but my Rokr and V557 never switch over to the edge indicator ( E also) they always display the GPRS symbol but I can move my sim card over the w600i and it pops up right to edge and it is so much faster and this is all right here insided the same store.
