Panasonic P900iV 3G FOMA Question

Okay, I know that there is no way to unlock this phone yet. But I think there is a way around it and I want to know your opinions. I bought the P900iV off of ebay and I put my Cingular SIM into it knowing it wasn't going to work but it said "this card is not a UIM card, please type in the carrier code". So I'm thinking that if you get a code from either NTT DoCoMo or Cingular, then you can unlock the phone to the other carrier if you have a 'good' reason. I have seen other things around the net saying that you can get this code from the carrier if you say that you lived in Japan and are going to stay in the US for a long period of time and are eventually coming back to Japan to switch back to DoCoMo, they said this works....Let me know what you think on this theory! Thanks

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that nobody knows about this?

Read first about japanese mobile network structure and how it works than you will NEVER think again about unlocking any of FOMA handsets.
I like P900iV design very much but this phone outside Japan will always work as nice toy with 2MPix camera, HQ screen and mp3 player.
