It looks like this is turning into a customers ask agents questions forums. I don't know if there is a rule or not against it but customers, please ask this stuff in the main forum. This is a place for us employees to hang. Last thing I want to do is answer questions to what I have been dealing with for the 9 hours I was on the clock today.

Ok off my soap box now

Well, the title and sub title of the forum is this:

Agents and employees
Discuss your experiences about working for Cingular here

No where does it state for people to come in and ask reps for help. We arent a help desk. Thats why the main Cingular forum exists. You dont see this in the T-Mobile thread for Agents/Employees.

Youre right, no one asked us to answer the question, but at the same time, this forum was created for us to have a place to chat, vent, and give new updates with systems we work with. Not a place for customers to come ask us to help them commit fraud or "what would/could we do."

As stated in the post above this is for agents and employees to talk to each other about customers and working issues and such. If you want to ask a question do it in the Cingular.howardforums.com, thats what its for. I dont think that you will get an answer here, more than likely you will get a closed thread. Read the rules for posting before you post things like this.

I agree they should read a bit over the rules and post in the correct forums.

This is the thing though my fellow grunts:

I cant read every thread, all you guys are doing (save a few of you) is just posting your displeasure of the thread in question without reporting the post I agree Bobo went to bat to get you guys this place to discuss your issues and it should stay that way, but some of you need to be more of a solution to the problem as well. Post reports go straight to Bobo and I and its usually addressed within the hour in most cases. We might not agree with your report at times most cases are cut and dry. Just report the post and let us take care of it.

Reporting the post is that triangle below the members name in that thread, its not hard to find.

Ciao and take care!

ah so if we report it, you guys will take care of post in the wrong forum? heck ill start doin that!!

No issue in my life, I just think that it is cool that we will be able to help clean up the forums. If you read more you would see that this is an issue to people who use the forums for information.

Personal insults have no place in the forums..

Do you sugest that you need a CID to enter this forum?

Did I say that?

I agree that customers should not be able to access this forum. Nothing aggrevates me more than reading something that an employee is venting about and the reading a customers response complaining that the rep is venting. It is bad enough that we have to listen all day to what the customer thinks we do wrong, I dont want to hear it here. Dont get me wrong I love my job and love to be able to help out the customer, but not on my down time.

I doubt this is going to happen. But one way that you can do it is start your own forum, but how would you keep them out? Would you say that they have to have an id? How would you verify it? Each agent has a specific id, but are they going to givve it to you? Also what keeps a friend of a sales person from giving them the id so that they can still see whats going on? Public forms are always going to be just that public. I hear it all day also but there again even on lunch I have friends that ask, when we go out someone always has questions about something, or a friend that says hey wait this guy that I know is a cell phone sales guy he can help out with that. So I would say that the only down time that you are going to have is when you are asleep then what if the wife or the girlfriend has an issue, or mom or dad? Its a never ending circle.

Yeah...tell me about it. My girlfriend (with whom I live with) works for Cingular too. I get home and try to watch tv or do some homework and all she wants to do it talk about her cr@ppy day at work. LOL. Her and I both recently left Cingular and now we are (I'm about to be) working for Verizon. Its neverending. There's nothing that really can be done about keeping customers out of this forum. I'm not really one to talk since I no longer work for Cingular but AWID's and CUID's aren't going to work here!

i'm a member of another site that has a wireless industry employees only forum and unless you are accepted by a mod into that forum, it's hidden from anyone else. the other forum is not nearly as big as this one but that might be an option for the webmaster and mods to look at.

Perhaps thats because Cingular has such HORRIBLE customer service, that customers have no other choice. Where as T-Mobile wins awards for there great customer service.

http://www.t-mobile.com/company/200...T.mc_t=OnsiteAd

It could also be because Cingular has 52.3 million customers, which would contain a very high percentage of people that approch reps.

I lean more to Cingulars HORRIBLE customer service.

Hey guy's I'm to young to work for cingular, but I think this sub-forum rocks. I've had a job dealing with public, and I know some of the things you experience with nut cases (flashback from the "cat lady"). I do agree this is a place to chill and people should not be here to criticize you. This forum rocks!
