Cracked my v551's outer LCD

I fell on my side with the phone in my pocket, and it didn't come out too well. The outer LCD is fragmented and doesn't show anything but still lights up. The inner LCD fine but parts of the phone's case are dented or cracked. Everything works fine electronically. I'd very much like to have a completly working phone, so what are my options besides buying a new one?

You could send it into Motorola for repair. Motorola charged me ~$75 to fix my outer LCD crack on my V551. They ended up replacing the phone. The only downside is that it takes Motorola ages to get around to it (they had mine for more than a month).

If you decide to can getting it fixed before throwing it away try to take out the display and look (google) for the part numbers. I did it once on another phone's main display and google got a hit with a source for it for ~$20.00. If you remember how you got it out just reverse. It took me 30 minutes(2 leads) max. There is also a gasket.
