Flashing Hong Kong purchased Moto V3i

Just one question!!!
Just purchased a V3i from seller x1387 on ebay....and I want to add norwegian language on the phone.....
Somebody told me that flashing asian versions of the v3i is impossible?
Just delivered my V3i to Motorola`s Norwegian office and they managed to "kill" it....I said asians and european v3i is different hardware wise as well???
Sound strange to me? Anybody else tried to flash they`re v3i`s?

i have a asian V3, i have a european flash n flex, i think there is no differance, but i have a V3....
ill wait for my v3i to come and ill see!!

Strange ideed, because they also told me that they hav had the same problem with Asian purchased V3`s??
Incompetent maybe?
