P900 free up somme memory?how to?

Hello.
I have the P900 phone and it has already installed some apps (it's a second hand mobile).
One of the apps is FileManager 1.00.It shows me a bunch of files from both internal and external memory.
I've noticed that on C (internal memory) are a lot of system files, many of them are files that belonged to apps that are not installed any more.
I'm afraid to delete some of this files, but also, I'd like to free-up some memory.
Can anybody tell me what's the finest way to clean some of the internal and external memory without produce any harm to the cellphone?
