Screen protectors?

Anyone use these screen protectors as opposed to using a full on case? How do they work?

Screen protectors are a great idea. I consider one a must have for any device with an LCD.

Cheapest "screen insurance" you can buy. Boxwave are expensive but worth every penny. The Clear version is AMAZING.

I like the Boxwave but feel like the MartinField's are a little better... Little clearer and a little better fit...

Wow, are you serious? I have to try those! Link? (With my clear Boxwave, you can NOT tell there's a protector on my screen!)

Screen protectors are great as opposed to a full case, but just keep in mind that they do not protect the body of the phone. With that in mind, I use the OEM proctector from PalmOne. All you do is trim the protector according to which model you have and put it on. It ran me $12 for the multipack.

Hey OneMoreTime,
lgreenburg actually has the link in his last post but here's another link, www.overlayplus.com, I think this website is mainly for the Screen Protectors, if you go to the MartinFields.com website they have other items... I really do love the Martin Fields SP's... I've used almost everyother good SP and have stuck with the MF's. I use 1 on my Treo 650, 1 on my PSP, 1 on my Sony Dig Cam, 1 on my 30gb iPod Vid & 1 on my wife's, and 1 on my wife's Razr... Hope you have good luck with your's...

Well i have purchased a case off of ebay that I hope will work well.

I'm certainly going to try the Martin Fields SP's! I can't believe there's anything that could be more clear or "invisible" than the Boxwave 'Clear' version.

(In addition to using a Boxwave screen protector, my Treo-650 has been protected since April 2004 with a grey Vaja case and when I travel, it rides in a padded LowePro bag or a small Pelican case with custom foam insert. BTW, there are screen protectors on EVERY screen on EVERY cellphone, digital camera, and PDA that we have! Wouldn't have it any other way! )

LOL, OneMoreTime, I got a black Vaja case for my Treo too. Waiting for my Seidio skin to come too, kinda curious to see how the reset hole in the battery case looks... Hope you like the MF's, I've actually just purchased 6 Razr protectors and a few iPod SP's for some friends...lol

In my experience the Boxwave Clear Touch and the Martin Fields Overlay Plus are the EXACT same product. If I had to guess I'd say they both get them from the same supplier and simply slap their name on it.

Posted by: OneMoreTime

That wouldn't actually surprise me. It's done with so many 'gadget-y' products these days, isn't it.

Which one is cheaper? The Boxwave Clear Touch or the Martin Fields Overlay Plus???

Posted by: Laker4Life

Hey lgreenberg, ever seen the SP MF has for the Razr? MF comes w/ camera SP whereas Boxwave does not... Not that that's the only difference, my MF SP for my Treo fit better than my Boxwave... All just personal preference I guess...

I used the screen protector from Seidio. It is precisely cut. High quality and durable. The best is $ 5.95. I am quite pleased.

I purchased some clearvue screen protectors off ebay for 3.95 and they work amazingly. I think they are about the same quality as the boxwave, it came with 2 but it says you can wash them with water and re-use. These are also precisely cut.

Personally, I LOVE the one's from Brando:
