hey guys i got a usb dongle and i have a V551 i can connect the phone through the dongle software but i cannot connct through MPt..anyhelp is appreciated thankyou

are you using mpt to backup your phone contacts?? I only use mpt for the Image Tool to crop photos. To transfer ringtones and wallpaper, I use the software that came with my bt dongle. I use my data cable if I want to edit seems and the gain table file.

if your phone is already paired with the pc

open the mpt program and select F6 Communication> Change Modem button and select to locate yourself from the list ... you should get something like 'standard modem over bluetooth link'. tick the box to choose your phone from the list and then it should load your phone.

the dable i have is crap and wont connect. is there a way i can connect any other way. my MPt sais modem in use by another program..idk whats wrong. pleas help..thankyou!
