Hey guys, I just got the UK firmware flashed onto my phone. However, it is freezing and such after I turn it on. Yea, sorry if this has been asked before, but I searched and I couldn't find anything on it. Also, how do I turn off the thing when it keeps asking me for reprovisioning?

^what did u do?? cuz my phone is starting to experience the same thing, freezing and stuff, but it's weird cuz a month ago it was fine

try doing a master reset. back up all your contacts and stuff first tho. if still giving you problems. contact me.

hey timsta, i actually did that, but it won't let me master reset... the prob with my phone is that whatever 'changes' i try doing to it, reset settings, master reset.... it'll start 'initialising' and then..... boom everything was back to the way it was as if i never touched it at all.. like if i change wallpapers... and i turn off the phone, when i turn it on again, the wallpaper isn't changed..

but ya know what timsta, i'm gonna get it reflashed this week (and if they say it's a hardware prob, i'm gonna get it repaired..) i'm just unsure if it's a hardware problem or software, it can still play videos, mp3s..but it just lags... everything's so slow.. what doesn't work are my games: it can't open them.. it'll start then it freezes and turns off & restart itself.. same w/ the camera, it'll take a picture and then when it autofocuses, it freezes then turns itself off.. hmm what else.. there's other weird things too, the big thing is that i cannot make any changes to my phone, it won't save the changes bcuz it turns off by itself and start over again

that's messed up. but it sounds like software problem. probably just originally flashed badly.

pm tim or myself if you need someone to flash it 4 ya.

well it was fine for a month... then one day when i turned it off it was taking longer than usual to do so and that's when everything became slow and lagging... there's no such thing as 'flashing' warranty is there? so i'd hafta get it re-flashed again and pay? =( *sigh*

Wow, I sure hope my phone doesn't do that on me. If it does, that means it is going to get sent to Canada to get a new brain again.

that sucks man. There's no such thing as flashing warranty unfortunately. But you probably should get it redone. If you do want it done again, contact me, i'll work out a deal with you.

do you know who yoru flasher was? maybe you can contact him and give him a piece of your mind then slap him silly.

and steve.. dont' worry. your flash will be fine.. after all. it was approved by me.

I sure hope it doesn't, if it does go out, I'm thinking you should send me a free desktop charger.
